Ram Introduces new Special Editions at State Fair of Texas

There are three new editions of the Ram that were just released at the State Fair of Texas: 2022 Ram 1500 TRX Ignition Edition, 2022 Ram 1500 Longhorn SouthFork, and the 2022 Ram 1500 (RAM)RED Edition.

“Buyers demand a good-looking truck with easy-to-use features. They tell us their Ram trucks are an extension of their personality, and they want to stand out from the crowd,” said Mike Koval Jr., Ram Brand chief executive officer. “Ram customers demand even more and our new models deliver that with a selection of exterior and interior appointments and content for even greater personalization.”

The Ram TRX Ignition Edition is limited to just 875 units. The most notable difference in the Ignition Edition is the Ignition Orange paint color. Other exclusive features include the supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi V8 engine, TRX Level Two Equipment Group, unique graphics, and interior accents.

New for 2022, the Ram 1500 Longhorn SouthFork model replaces Limited Longhorn 10th Anniversary in the lineup. The SouthFork features an exclusive Mountain Brown interior color, standard bucket seats, and suede door bolsters with a leather insert and laser filigree details.

The Ram, Jeep, and Fiat brands have committed to donating at least four million to the Global Health Fund between 2021 and 2023 to help fight health emergencies. The (Red) Edition is available on Limited Crew Cab configurations and features a unique grille, door badging, and interior badging.
