The Country Music Television, or CMT, Music Awards is held in Nashville, Tennessee, the home of country music. This awards ceremony has been held every year since the 1960s to celebrate country artists and their work. Songs, music videos, and television performances are put through the wringer as they compete to win awards such as Video of the Year, Female Video of the Year, Male Video of the Year, Group/Duo Video of the Year, Breakthrough Video of the Year, Collaborative Video of the Year, CMT Performance of the year, and CMT Digital-First Performance of the Year. See each winner on CMT.com. The 2022 CMT Music Awards ceremony was hosted by Anthony Mackie and Kelsea Ballerini and was broadcast live on Monday, April 11, from 8 -11 p.m.

While the CMT Music Awards was held on Monday, the Ram Jam: Artist to Watch at the 2022 CMT Awards concert was held the day before on Sunday, April 10. The stage was set at Cumberland Park, still in Nashville, Tennessee, and the concert went on for hours, to the enjoyment of everyone who attended. Refusing to only support the community halfway, Ram Jam had a Ram Truck Side Stage at the Music Awards as well. Six lucky artists performed on that stage on the day of. These artists, and the song they performed were:

  • Parker McCollum, “To Be Loved By You”
  • Elvie Shane, “My Boy”
  • Caitlyn Smith, “High”
  • Priscilla Block, “My Bar”
  • BRELAND, “Praise The Lord”
