Camping in Your Jeep

The simplest way to go camping in your Jeep is to load it with all your gear and set off into the woods. With Jeep’s legendary Trail Rated 4×4 capability, there aren’t many places that your Jeep won’t allow you to go. Once you reach your campsite, you can set up camp as usual. There is a power outlet available in the cargo area of most new Jeep models, so you’ll be able to have power for your accessories while you’re in the middle of nature. Make sure not to draw too much power from your Jeep’s battery or it will go dead and you’ll have to call a buddy to come to rescue you.

There are two other ways to camp with your Jeep: sleeping inside the cabin or installing a rooftop tent. Sleeping inside the Jeep keeps you protected from bugs, extreme heat or cold, and allows you to stay a little bit cleaner. It’s a little more compact than the other options because you’ll have everything inside of the Jeep but it can be much more comfortable than sleeping on the ground!

The rooftop tent is the ultimate adventure option. Not only does it look incredibly cool but you free up the interior of your Jeep for your gear while you sleep up top. The rooftop tent keeps you away from all the creepy crawlies that can come up to your tent at night and allows you to have a more compact footprint so you can turn almost anywhere into your perfect campsite!
