The 2020 Ram 3500 offers a few new highlights for 2020:
- Ram Heavy Duty Night Edition (Big Horn and Laramie) includes monochromatic design enhanced by black 20-inch wheels, black badging and black interior and is available in a variety of body colors
- Lane Keep Assist and Adaptive Steering now available on all trim levels
- Blind-spot Monitoring, including easy-to-use trailer coverage
- Trailer tire pressure monitoring
- Auxiliary camera system supporting up to two different cameras
- 50-gallon fuel tank optional on Crew Cab with an eight-foot bed
There are two engine options for the 2020 Ram 3500. The standard engine is a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 gas engine which allows the Ram 3500 to achieve a best-in-class 7,680 lb gas payload capacity. Step up to the 6.7-liter Cummins turbo diesel engine for best-in-class diesel towing capacity of 35,100 lbs. There is a high output option for the Cummins turbo diesel engine to produce an incredible 1,000 ft-lbs of torque. This makes the Ram 3500 the first heavy-duty truck to offer four digits of torque from the factory.
The Ram 3500 is available in five trims: Tradesman, Big Horn, Laramie, Laramie Longhorn, and Limited. The Limited is filled with state-of-the-art technology such as a 17-speaker Harman/Kardon premium sound system, adaptive cruise control with stop, cargo view camera, full-speed forward collision warning plus, surround-view camera, trailer reverse guidelines, 12-inch UConnect touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, smart key entry with push-button start, digital gauge cluster, and two-tone leather interior options with heated and ventilated front and rear seats.
