The 2020 Ram 1500 is available in six trim levels: Tradesman, Big Horn, Laramie, Rebel, Laramie Longhorn, and Limited. Each of these Ram models has a different flair that makes them unique. The available 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engine with the eTorque Mild Hybrid System blends performance-enhancing and fuel-saving technologies with the addition of an available extra 130 lb-ft of torque for a V8 gas towing capacity of up to 12,750 pounds with best-in-class available V8 combined 4×4 fuel economy at 19 mpg in combined highway and city driving.
The new available 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 engine achieves 480 lb-ft of diesel torque and a diesel towing capacity of 12,560 pounds. The EcoDiesel achieves 22 mpg city and 32 mpg on the highway for the two-wheel-drive model. That number only decreases by a few miles per gallon in each scenario by choosing four-wheel-drive.
The Ram 1500 is not only incredibly capable, but it is smart. The available multi-function tailgate allows you to use your Ram like never before. The 60/40 split opening can be utilized like barn doors or a traditional fold-down tailgate. This allows you to reach the back of the bed without having to bend yourself over the already lowered tailgate.
