The 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee is sure to impress everyone with 12 available trim levels: Laredo E, Upland, Altitude, North Edition, Limited, Limited X, Trailhawk, Overland, High Altitude, Summit, SRT, and Trackhawk.
There are four engine options available on the 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Standard is a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 with 295 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The engine returns 19 mpg city and 26 mpg on the highway for the two-wheel-drive models and 18/25 for the four-wheel drive models. When properly equipped, the V6 Grand Cherokee can tow up to 6,200 lbs.
Stepping up to the 5.7-liter Hemi V8 improves the horsepower to 360 and gets 14 mpg city and 22 mpg highway. The Hemi V8 is only available with all-wheel drive and increases the towing rating by 1,000 lbs.
If performance is what you’re after, the Grand Cherokee SRT uses a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 to deliver 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. If you’re still not satisfied, there is the 6.2-liter supercharged Hellcat V8 with an impressive 707 horsepower and 645 lb-ft of torque. This rockets the Trackhawk from zero to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds and conquers the quarter-mile in a spectacular 11.6 seconds. Equipped with launch control, high-performance Brembo brakes, Quadra-Trac Active On-Demand 4×4 System, and performance pages, the SRT and Trackhawk Grand Cherokees are sure to embarrass some sports cars at the track.
