Ain’t Life Sublime? Fan-Favorite Color Returns to Dodge Just in Time for Spring
Although it may be sub-zero temperatures in some parts of the country right now thanks to that frigid Polar Vortex, that hasn’t stopped Dodge from attempting to brighten things up with an all-new color just in time for warmer weather on the horizon. Re-introducing the color Sublime, a heritage-inspired color that is now available on the Dodge Charger Scat Pack, the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat and the Dodge Challenger Widebody models for the first time ever! Sublime will also be available for the Dodge Challenger T/A, although the color was once available for the Challenger T/A back in the 1970s. The color was originally introduced during 1970 on all Dodge models except the Polara and Monaco, and Sublime made a flash appearance in 2008 when Dodge created a limited amount of Dodge Charger R/T Daytona models in that incredible color. This new vibrant and bold color option also fits in perfectly amongst the existing high-impact color options such as Go Mango, B5 Blue, F8 Green, TorRed and Plum Crazy. The Sublime color will be revealed on both Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger models at the upcoming 2019 Chicago Auto Show next month.
Head of Passenger Car Brands Dodge/SRT, Chrysler and FIAT for FCA North America Steve Beahm is thrilled with the new addition: “Our Dodge/SRT muscle cars give our customers what they want, an incredibly wide variety of performance models and high-impact color options. Whether it’s Sublime paint, all-wheel drive capability or 797 horsepower, Charger and Challenger stand out. By bringing back a high-impact color like Sublime across the 2019 Challenger and Charger lineups, we’re continuing to give our enthusiast customers another way to make their muscle cars even more unique when they showcase the legendary Dodge performance attitude.” With the return of the Sublime color to the Dodge lineup, it brings with it a sense of nostalgia and excitement for quick trips and fun times spent on the drag strip.
